Leading roof tile manufacturer Russell Roof Tiles has announced a new sponsorship deal with Burton Albion Football Club, extending its relationship with the “Brewers” to more than a decade.
Russell Roof Tiles will continue to appear on all men’s first team kits as the official back-of-shirt partner, for the seventh consecutive year. The company’s branding and logo will appear above the name and number on the home, away and third team kits for the Brewers’ 2026/27 season.
Alongside the back-of-shirt sponsorship, away supporters sitting in the East Stand at the Pirelli Stadium will see the Russell Roof Tiles branding, with the company continuing as East Stand sponsor, which started in 2016. The Pirelli Stadium is close to Russell Roof Tiles’ Burton on Trent headquarters and one of three manufacturing sites.
Andrew Hayward, Managing Director of Russell Roof Tiles, said: “We’re thrilled to be continuing our partnership and sponsorship with Burton Albion for another season. We started our relationship with the club over 10 years ago, and we are so pleased that our values are still shared, particularly our work in the community and the incredible support for local charities and causes. We can’t wait to be back at the Pirelli supporting the team this season.”
As Burton Albion are hoping to build on last season’s 17th place finish in Sky Bet League One, so too is Russell Roof Tiles, as the company hopes to build on the success of one million sales of its revolutionary Bute3® roof tile. Bute3® is produced on Russell Roof Tiles’ fully automated tile manufacturing line on Nicolson Way in Burton on Trent.
This follows an investment of more than £20m and five years of design, engineering and development. The tile has been used or specified on more than 80 developments so far across the UK. The unique design of the award-winning tile enables roofing contractors to install roofs up to 33 per cent faster than alternative products.
Jordan Worthington, Head of Sales at Burton Albion, said: “I am delighted that Russell Roof Tiles have decided to continue their long-standing relationship with the Club into an incredible 11th year. The longevity of this partnership is a testament to the values shared between us, of innovation, quality and investment. I look forward to continuing to maximise the value of this long-term partnership and building on our successful relationship for many years to come.”
In addition to its partnership with Burton Albion, this year, for the first time, Russell Roof Tiles is also supporting two local, grassroots semi-professional football clubs, Stapenhill Football Club and Gresley Rovers, who were formed in 1882. Both clubs are key assets for the local communities and Russell Roof Tiles is thrilled to be able to support them this year as they both embark on significant growth plans.
As a business with more than 60 years of heritage, Russell Roof Tiles is committed to supporting charities, community groups and initiatives that improve the lives of local people. Through its Give4Good charitable initiative, employees nominate and support causes that are important to them. This ensures fundraising benefits organisations with a direct impact on the communities where staff live and work. Last year, Russell Roof Tiles raised over £60,000 for causes local to its three manufacturing sites. In total, the company has supported the community by donating over £275,000 in the past five years.
Russell Roof Tiles is a leading independent manufacturer of concrete roof tiles and accessories, with three manufacturing sites, including its headquarters in Burton on Trent. The company is renowned for its commitment to innovation, quality, and community investment.
