CMC SpA, a KKR Global Impact Fund Portfolio Company and leading manufacturer of automated, right-sized packaging machines for e-fulfilment, today announced the opening of three new Subsidiaries in France, Germany and the United Kingdom as part of its international expansion strategy.
This action was taken to accommodate the increasing demand for packaging automation in these key European countries where e-commerce penetration is higher than the rest of the continent.
The new subsidiaries will enable CMC to better serve its customers and shorten response and delivery time for after sale service and consumables.
This expansion is added to the long-established CMC America LLC and CMC Netherland BV subsidiaries which have added warehouse space and cutting-edge sales and service organizations in the regions.
CMC Machinery UK Ltd will be led by Scott Torrington who will also oversee the CMC business in the Nordics. Scott who brings more than 15 years’ senior leadership experience in the Parcel and Warehouse automation industry commented: “I am honoured to lead the CMC team in the UK, Ireland and Nordics markets. CMC are the global leader in right-sized sustainable packaging machines and our history of innovation combined with a true belief in our people really inspired me to come to CMC and be part of this exciting and fast-growing organisation”.
Supply Chain and packaging veteran Loïc Blin will be at the at the helm of CMC France with more than 25 years of experience of the French Market. “Innovation and sustainability are the key drivers of our business. Through a mono material solution, using right-size technology, CMC are able to offer our French customers market leading sustainable packaging solutions enabling them to limit their total carbon footprint, with savings on process, materials and transport. I am honoured to have joined CMC as we continue to innovate and grow” he commented.
