One of the UK's leading manufacturers of Type llR medical grade disposable facemasks, PopOn Facemasks, is rolling out the first in a line of touch screen card payment vending machines for the ‘Made in Britain' facemasks. The Essex based company wants to populate various locations around the UK with the machines working with partners such as airports, railway and underground stations, universities, shopping centres, commercial offices, and care homes, among others.
Each machine can hold ninety-three packs, with each pack containing three or five face masks. A touch screen limits contact with no unnecessary buttons or knobs. Designed with card payment as the only means of transaction also limits the reliance on cash and handing change in the form of notes or coins, reducing any possible bacteria and virus transmission.
The digital screen on the PopOn vending machine not only advertises the products but can also keep the public informed with updated public announcements and important Covid-19 information.
"Facemask vending machines are not unique but very few offer medical grade disposable face masks, especially facemasks manufactured in Great Britain. We responded at the start of the pandemic to the government call for British made medical grade facemasks, and now we want to respond again when the country comes out of lockdown to make the safest masks available to purchase in the safest way possible." said Jamie Majid, PopOn Facemasks managing director.
"We want to speak with companies and organisations who would like one of our vending machines in their establishments, so we can keep offering protection while the rest of the UK awaits vaccination to younger age groups and life returns to some form of normality and society reopens." Jamie concluded.
